Immutable & recoverable · cut storage cost

Reclaim space and spend, without losing a file

Cendro Archive is a SaaS platform that connects to your on-prem storage or SharePoint, shows you which files have gone cold, and archives them to cheap, immutable cloud storage on your rules.

Cendro Archive — File Age Heatmap showing how much stored data has gone cold, by age bracket

How it works

Scan, archive, retrieve

1

Scan

Build an access heatmap of your storage or SharePoint to see what is cold. Scanning preserves last-access times, so it does not disturb your data.

2

Archive by rule

Set rules to archive files by last-accessed date, or archive manually. Jobs run and move the data to low-cost AWS S3 for you.

3

Retrieve on request

Each archived file leaves a same-name stub in place. Users request it back; admins approve retrievals and restore versions from a dashboard.

What makes it different

One platform, end to end

Access heatmap

See what is cold before you archive, built from real last-access data.

On-prem and SharePoint

Archive from file shares (SMB/CIFS) via a lightweight agent and from SharePoint via the Microsoft Graph API.

Files stay findable

A same-name stub replaces each archived file, so nothing appears lost and retrieval is one click away.

Immutable and versioned

Data lands in AWS S3 Infrequent Access with Object Lock and version history.

Encrypted before it leaves

Each file is encrypted client-side with AES-256, and its key is wrapped with a per-client RSA-4096 key pair — so the key never leaves your premises.

Admin-controlled retrieval

Requests land in an admin dashboard for approval and version restore, or you can enable auto-approval policies for seamless access.

Monitored paths show what is waiting to be archived — approve manually, or let your rules run automatically.

Questions, answered

Before you ask

Will end users be disrupted or flood us with tickets?

No. Each archived file leaves a same-name stub in the same location, so nothing looks missing. A user just opens the stub to request the file back — no IT knowledge and, with auto-approval, no ticket to you.

Can you read our files?

No. Each file is encrypted client-side with AES-256 before it leaves you, and its key is wrapped with a per-client RSA-4096 key pair that never leaves your premises. We store encrypted data only.

What happens if ransomware hits our network?

Archived data sits in AWS S3 under Object Lock (WORM), so it cannot be modified or deleted until its retention period expires. The originals have also left your network, so there is less on-site to encrypt.

What can Archive connect to?

On-prem file shares (SMB/CIFS) via a lightweight agent, and SharePoint Online via the Microsoft Graph API — all managed from one dashboard.

How is it priced?

A flat monthly rate by capacity, not per user, starting at A$100/month. Retrieval is included up to 10% of stored capacity per month; beyond that it is A$0.11 per GB (ex GST).
