Why we built Cendro

Cendro is built by TIMG (The Information Management Group), which has helped Australian organisations manage their information since 2006. Over the last few years we saw the same pattern across our customers: data was growing faster than they could manage it, and archiving and governance had become real pain points that pushed up cost and turned compliance into guesswork.

We listened, and built Cendro to solve those problems directly: cut the cost of what you store, understand what matters, and govern it with confidence.

Cendro Archive connects to on-prem storage or SharePoint, builds a heatmap of what has gone cold, and archives it to low-cost, immutable AWS S3 storage on the rules you set, reclaiming space while keeping every file retrievable. Cendro Cloud gives the records you need to keep a secure, searchable home on the same platform, encrypted, immutable, and governed by retention rules. Built in Australia, with early customers across sport, local government, education, and healthcare, Cendro helps businesses control cost and risk as their data grows.
